Hi,
I've tried searching but havne't yet found a solution to this. My server is on resolution 1280*1024, and I'm trying to connect through http from a laptop with resolution 1280*800. I can't get the scaling to work - what I want is like a 1:1.8 ratio or something, because just the very right side of the server window is not viewable from the client. Any suggestions? Whenever I put a decimal into the server screen scale options on the server, it just keeps the 1 and drops the rest. And I get a framebuster error if I try 1:2 scale...

server screen scaling
Re: server screen scaling
You probably want to adjust the client-side scaling. The developers [post=39996]have stated[/post] that you can only have 1/integer server-side scaling. Interestingly, x11vnc has no problem doing that. There [post=45358]was a comment[/post] from a developer, but I still think it would be worth trying if x11vnc can do it.

Re: server screen scaling
Yes it would be technically possible, but not by using the current server side scaling method (ie: I wouldn't use the current method to implement %age server side scaling)
BTW, it would presumably take a lot more CPU on the server.

Re: server screen scaling
I generally just use the web browser to access the server. Am I misled in thinking that there is no way to adjust it as you mention when using the http feature?
