Remote Support solution

Post by noodle2732 »

I've been looking for a remote support solution for a computer company to provide remote support to customers/clients. After looking at a few pricy software packages and hardware packages i came across PcHelpWare.

I was just wondering if it can be setup to suit my needs.

What i need to be able to setup is: an interface where the customer either downloads a small .exe or goes to a web form and types in a remote support ticket number, it then connects to a support server which starts the session, logs the connection info in a mysql database and then forwards the connection down to a technician, also at the end of the session the server needs to log again the session info to the mysql server (so we can see how long the session took).

If anyone can either provide me with a guide or somthing of how to do this or simply tell me wether it is possible or not, it would be much apreciated.

Thanks.
