CTRL/ALT/DEL buggy?

Post by dj »

Has anyone had any issues with the CTRL/ALT/DEL key not working properly on the toolbar?

CTRL-ALT-DEL does nothing when connected to a Win9x machine.

Ctrl - Alt - Del

Post by joefu »

The only problem I have with sending Ctrl - Alt - Del is that the "Windows Security" windows is sometimes not readable. Instead of being in the center of the screen with all six options displayed, its sometimes located in upper left hand corner and all six options are not displayed. If you use the arrows keys all six options are there but not displayed. I am running XP with UltraVNC version 18.

Sounds like winvnc didn't get notice of all the screen updates. Try a different encoder, preferably without caching. Also try the video driver and see if that helps.
