The connection is initiated by the server, to allow easy access thru customers firewall.
http://www.uvnc.com/addons/repeater.html

In mode II both server and viewer initiate an outgoing connection.

* Viewer (normal mode)
* Server (invers connection)
* Repeater have to run on a machine that can be accessed from server and viewer PC.
*
o Open on the internet (DMZ zone)
o Internal, but with 2 ports forward by the Nat router

Situation is indicated by the lower image of the repeater settings window.

do you mean that I have to set up a repeater if I want to use SC II? no other choices?

for SC mode II, repeater required
for SC mode I , direct connection possible without repeater.
