Hello,
i want to use SC for remote control. Problem is:
I need several simultaneous working servers on different machines in my network. I could surely assign different ports for each machine and forward them through my firewall.
But is there any possibility that the clients running SC can connect to port 80 to my router and some kind of helper application distributes the connections to the respective SC servers?
Reason is a possible restrictive firewall on client side which only has port 80 opened.
Anyone ever had this case?
Best regards from Germany

Pchelpware with a repeater might be a good solution for your needs:

Re: Multiple Servers / multiple clients behind firewall?
They should also have 443 open too, so you can at least get two viewers, otherwise look into the repeater, or if you don't mind compiling a autoit script and setting up an SSH server, search for JDsVNC, its my solution to SC over SSH ... its been stable for 1-2 years now ... BUT its not easy to setup ... I'm working on a new version that is easier to setupBionade wrote:Reason is a possible restrictive firewall on client side which only has port 80 opened.
