How do I set up to connect over lan. Works fine over internet.
Pobaly missing something obvious.

Are you using the correct internal P address is it running as a service?

yup, instead of typing the Internet computer's IP address in the connection box, type in the local LAN IP or computer name in the box. This only works of course if you've set up the server on the computer you're connecting to.

Usually the problem is connecting over the internet and LAN is fine.

I guess what could be the problem (Shooting in the dark) is that either you have a firewall on the "Server" computer and are not allowing LAN addresses on the server box via the firewall.

Maybe the details of the boxes in question (OS) Rev of VNC you are using and some basic configuration items to allow us to see into your network without actually seeing it would be of assistance?

Figured the problem out just fine, I was trying to use the drop down explorer instead of just using the internal ip. Thanks for the advice.
