Have [TEXTBUTTON] open default email instead?

Post by bhelts »

Is there a way to have the textbutton link to [WEBPAGE] to open up the default email program? I tried mailto:email@domain.com but it seems the program puts http:// in the address if it is missing in the helpdesk.txt file. Thanks.

I have no problem to use [TEXTBUTTON]+[WEBPAGE] to open the email program. Do I misunderstand your question?

My helpdesk.txt is like this:

Code: Select all

[TEXTBUTTON]
Email To Us

[WEBPAGE]
mailto:email@domain.com

Hmmmm. When I do that, and click the button, it opens up default browser to www.domain.com (for example). I'll look into it further. Thank you for the response.

Oh.. I see...
Looks like this is a mistake in the helpdesk.txt downloaded from uvnc: Duplicate the [WEBPAGE] directive, and only the last setting is used.
