replace ip by hostname (for internal usage) or FQDN (for use over Internet)

Hallo,
the error is still there. The [Host] setup in the helpdsk.txt is:
-plugin -id 12345 -connect name.dyndns.org::5500 -noregistry
As I'm using a NAT/Router this FQDN is also set at router. Do I have put the port 5900 into the router to let the viewer in contact with the router?
Something I forget to do at server side.

So you start the viewer and try to connect to 'name':5900

This is incorrect!!!
Under SC operation, you may either:
1. Running the viewer in listening mode to wait for a connection (direction connection), or
2. Connect to a repeater with an ID, with its aid to make connection with a matched SC (connection via repeater).

So the helpdesk.txt indicated the server will be: Connect to the repeater (name.dyndns.org::5500), registing with an ID 12345, and also using the dsmplugin.

Is it what you mean to do?

Before proceed to give any suggestion, please provide more detail of your test:
1. Were you running the test within local LAN, or via internet?
2. Did you tried to set up a direct connection? Or via a repeater?
