encryption failes upon connect.

hey,
ive been reading alot of the forums and well i wanted to try pchelpware. I read all the instruction and i want it to be in mode II that is the repeater.


I forwarded the ports and started the repeater and i did a test and the repeater says it can connect and its working.Ive created a server that requires client to enter password and login id im not using proxy just via the repeater and that works. Yet when i try to connect from another pc on the LAN to test it out it wont work. The little box on the top of the screen recognises the id and says

setting up encryption waiting for viewer.
Encryption failed. if using proxy. port 443.."

when i check the repeater it says ..

As you can see ive been trying different id's
ive been restarting the repeater service and deleting the settings after i create a new server and then i set back the settings in the repeater and exit and restart for the new settings to take effect.

I cant seem to figure out whats wrong ..

I hope you won't use the dsmplugin of SingleClick not compatible with pchelpware.
pchelpware encrypted data as native.

but dont i have to use the repeater that is found in the folder that i downloaded ?? oh do you sugest that i use the repeater from the uvnc???


Anyway i downloaded the uvnc from the website not the single click and i installed the repeater alone not the server and not the viewer and i set up the repeater to use mode Ii not mode I and then i changed the port to use 0 because it said to do this if using mode II.

But it still gives the same error exact the saeme as above?

did i misinterpret your answer?

pchelpware_viewer must be connected to repeater, then pchelpware_server

the viewer must be connected to the repeater then the server can connect. right
i think thats what i did. i first test the repeater and it says it works and then secondly i create my server and then when im done i start it. i then try to run the server that i created on another machine on the lan. still no go. i will try with a friend and see how ti goes. my friend is a couple thousand miles away lol.

wel apparently i did this again
i delete all the stuff that i had.
I downloaded back the pchelpware files and then i extracted them to a folder.
I powered up the viewer that creates the files i entered my stuff alias and password and saved it. Then i put in my details for the repeater. I start up the repeater. I tested my repeater it works it says viewer ok and something else but it says both are ok and i checked to make sure ports are ok. i restarted the repeater with the settings for it. Then i test the repeater again works good. So now i create the server and password and id i click yes. .
I go to the folder myserver and i see the exe i created. So i copy it to another computer BUT first i click start on the viewer and then i try to login from the server but no go. it gives me that init fail error. sorry

Am i doing anything wrong?
