Pocket PC version?

Post by cyberglobe »

Hello,

Just wondering when would you be offering a PocketPC version of UltraVNC. I need to have the capabilities of UltraVNC with Encryption over my PocketPC Cellular phone.

Anyone else need Pocket PC Support? Please reply here to show the demands.

I would buy a Pocket PC if this feature materializes.

We use UltraVNC in a helpdesk environment, using SC builds and a rediector (so you can click on the name of the person you are working with and get directly to them). We also suport mobile devices. If we could actually VNC to a mobile device (windows mobile based of course) that would be a huge benefit. As it stands now, we buy recomend numerous Windows Mobile Devices, which we own 1 of somewhere in the helpdesk area, and then walk them through fixing the problem. However with more and more clients going to Verizon or Sprint borked windows mobile devices, which we do not have, that are completely different than our Palm, spam, spam or hp devices it would be nice to be able to just VNC to it from a pc. I know there are viewer's avaliable, the thing i would like to see is a PocketPC vnc server. I know this is a little tougher, but i think it would be very useful.

I'm keen on a WindowsMobile port for the Viewer that supports the Encryption Plug in (either a WM6 port OR the Javaviewer with the Encryption Plug In support)

Thanks
