Can a "server" disconnect the "viewer"

Post by ZoRaC »

In windows remote assistance the use who recieves the "help" can disconnect the "helper" pressing "esc".

Does PCHW also have such an option to disconnect the "helper"?

Yes. At the server side, the client can right click the PHW icon at Sys Tray, then select "Exit" to drop the connection.

Ok, so there is no key-shortcut aswell?
The user actually has to gain control over the mouse and use the systray-icon?

I don't aware PcHelpWare having this feature. However, you can use a keystroke macro tool (e.g. www.autohotkey.com) to assign a key to run this script:
taskkill /F /IM pchelpware.exe

This script will terminate the PHW and thus drop the connection
