Hi, everyone,
I have a small but (to me) annoying problem. I've done a lot of experimenting with the UltraVNC viewer (and SSH tunnels, long story, but I got it sorted out) and all connections that I've ever made remain in the "VNC Server" list in the UVNC viewer. The drop down list is long and I only need two entries, the others don't work but are left-overs from previous experiments.
How can I clean up this list? The 'Delete saved settings' button, or right-clicking in the "VNC Server" dropdown list and then selecting 'delete' won't work, and I haven't found anytihing in the registry or in the file system. Uninstalling and re-installing UVNC didn't get rid of it either.
All suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
// Frank

Cleaning up "VNC Server" list in UltraVNC Viewer 1.0.2
Re: Cleaning up "VNC Server" list in UltraVNC View
The connection history is saved in the registry at:
\\HKCU\Software\ORL\VNCviewer\MRU
Use the regedit.exe to search and goto this location, you will see the whole list. You can then delete those connection site that are useless.
You can even delete all keys, so you will have an empty history of connection site when you start the viewer next time.

That worked perfectly...and immediately...for my UltraVNC 1.0.2 Viewer.
Interestingly, I did not have to reboot my W2K Pro computer for this registry change to take effect.
I'm wondering how you knew this...javascript:emoticon(':o')
Thanks, YY!

Re: Cleaning up "VNC Server" list in UltraVNC View
So what exactly, does the 'Delete saved settings' button do?

Re: Cleaning up "VNC Server" list in UltraVNC View
If you have checked the "Save connection settings as default" box, the viewer will save a record of its setting (Speed, View Only, Auto Scaling, DSMPlugin ...etc), and it will auto-load with these setting swhen run the viewer next time.
So press the 'Delete saved settings' button will erase this record.
