HTTPS support?

Post by aweber1nj »

Didn't find this anywhere, but it could be I didn't look hard enough, so apologies in advance...

Is it possible to set the javaviewer (well, the HTTP-part of UltraVNC Server) to use HTTPS/secure connections? This would be a great way to enable encrypted, and at least somewhat more secure, traffic without having someone install a [ultraVNC]client.

Has anyone managed to do this, or is there some reason it "can't be done"???

Thanks,
AJ

I assumed via this: http://www.uvnc.com/features/javaviewer.html

I remember trying it a ways back and it worked. I haven't tested it recently.
