skipping 'My Details' shortcut on remote install

I think I must've overlooked it but I can't find out where. How can I not install the "My Details" shortcut on a user's desktop when I do a remote install? Thanks!

I swear I didnt get on of thoes when i installed uvnc. It says xp sp2, maybe that lets/makes it install one of thoes shortcuts. Someone else will have to chime in, because I've never seen that.

Or, I did get it installed, but I deleted all the icons it created right away without seeing what they were. Theres no option in the setup to not install icons to the desktop?

Strange. I used sroger's instructions ([topic=985][/topic]) to get it done though. The icon was not there before the install though and has popped on on the other test PC's I'm trying uvnc on too.

I would think there would be an option/switch to not install any icons too.

I believe this is something specific to FastPush. It includes the mydetails.exe in the common folder. Installing Ultr@VNC from the regular install package doesn't install that component. maybe you could modify the install script to leave it out, but I haven't looked at it that closely.

Edit the vnc.cmd and look for the line that says "set macrep=yes" and change it to no instead.
