Post by Offerlam »

I have read all the dokumentation which are fine. I have made my exe file for my users and opend the ports in my route lalalaal

But what i can't find is any paper on how this is surpose to work in practice?

what do I have to start on my pc in order to chatch the incomming connection requests? ultravnc server? ultravnc viewer?

how are the connection requests gonna show on my PC? are they gonna pop up on my screen? do I have to click something in the program server/viwer? how is this surpose to work from my side of the desk?

Well I have exactly the same question. I get connected to the repeater and the VNC-Server Service is running also, but I have no idea how I would be able to view the requested machine.

Did some more research on this and the end computer (the supporter) has to intsall the ultravnc viewer which is in the standard install of ultravnc.

When a client is connecting to the viewer there should be a pop up telling you if you want to accept or not, but i haven't gotten it to work....yet :)

If you're talking about SC, you'd start the viewer in listening mode when you have a client who wishes to connect.

After they let you know they need help and you've started the viewer, they run the exe-file you created.
