Mappng fails

Post by dwils »

New at this--any help greatly appreciated. Test mapping always fails. Cannot get connection to person I'm trying to help. Sent the server to him--he runs, but connection fails

did you try the zero configuration that is stickied on this subtopic??

Sounds like you dont have the ports open for the program to work

the viewer and server each have had the id assigned to them. Then the data is encrypted and sent via the repeater to both parts.

need to fill out a name for your connection
need to put a password in then the information form the zero config

save the settings once they are saved then you must create the server

the server is saved under a file in myservers folder

send that file to the machine you want to remote control..:)
