Hi, I have installed the MSRC4Plugin122 on my laptop and on a machine I connect to quite often. It works fine. But I cannot connect to other machines that do not have the plugin. Isn't unchecking the "use dsm plugin" box in the viewer supposed to disable it?

If not, how do i configure so i can connect to both encrypted and non-encrypted servers?

right,
other vnc are ultravnc server without encryption plugin or vnc server flavor ?
there no other plugin encryption on remote vnc server ?

you can create 2 shortcut of vncviewer
1 with dsmplugin
1 without dsmplugin

No plugins at all on the other servers, and it's the same version of ultravnc on all machines I use.

Is creating two shortcuts the same as checking/unchecking the use dsm box?

Also, i think it is a firewall thing, I cannot connect to servers outside the network that do not have plugins, but can connect to servers inside the network that do and don't have plugins.

Even though the use dsm box is unchecked, there still seems to be some protocol or port used or something of the sort that two different firewalls here do not allow.

Also, I have removed the plugin from the ultravnc directory, and immediately i can connect to all outside and inside servers 9accept the one with the plugin on it).
