Did something change with the SC Creator?

Post by RyanFromNBI »

I've recently gotten a new internet connection at my office. I'm in the process of switching everything over and that includes my VNC set up.

I'm running UltraVNC Win32 Viewer 1.0.2

Previously, I was set up so that I could e-mail a SC exe file and just run the viewer on my end. My clients would connect back to me and it worked like a charm.

I created a new .exe file today with my new IP address in it (that's the only thing I changed) and now I'm getting all sorts of errors. For example:

Connection failed - Error reading Protocol Version

Possible Causes:

- You've forgotten to select a DSMPlugin and the Server uses a DSMPlugin
- Viewer and Server are not compatible (they use different RFB protocoles)
- Bad connection

Did something change with the SC creator? If so, what do I need to upgrade/change to get SC to work again?

Thanks,
