Viewer Limit?

Post by VNCnewb5 »

How many people are able to connect to a machine until we see a performance issue?

Using the HTTP java viewer, or the UltraVNC viewer, do you have any idea what the threshold is for viewers?

It is on a P4 3.0 Ghz machine with 1GB ram. I am just trying to get an idea if 10 people will be fine, 40 people, 100 people, etc...

the connection of viewers on a server depends on bandwith on 100 mbps you cant not too many going but say you have a 1GBs then you will be able to connect more workstations

if you choose modem connections you should be able to get more connections but the screen will look crappy..
