Java Viewer - Default View only to Yes

Post by VNCnewb5 »

We are using the java viewer to connect via VNC, but would like the default option for viewers to have the View Only set to Yes.

It doesn't appear that there is a configuration variable that can be changed to do this by default.

Is there anyone I could contact that would be able to re-compile VNC with this option?

Still wondering about this... Just to add, I will gladly pay to have this functionality.

The first one is for windows 98, and the second one converts the password type, but it doesn't mention about changing the View only to Yes.

is because the example related to win98 is do not work for XP !

vncpwd required, because is hidden function and you unable to change it by standard vnc and require manual update to registry except with tightvnc

So I need to uninstall UltraVNC and install TightVNC on the XP machine, using the instructions for the TightVNC installed on Win 98?
