Two types of users?

Post by VNCnewb5 »

I have two scenarios....

I want two people to be able to log into VNC and have complete control over the machine, and then I want everyone else to only have viewing rights.

The two users are:
CORP\userOne
CORP\userTwo

and everyone else will be on:
CORP\

I have configured MSLogon new to allow userOne and userTwo complete control, but I don't know how to make it so everyone else can be a viewer.

is there a CORP\* type of command?

Alternatively, if there is a way that I can configure two separate VNCs over two different ports, one says viewers have full control, and the other says viewers don't have full control (using standard VNC password), that would also work.

ultravnc don't have the feature of 2 vnc passwords authentication.
(1 for view only and one for full control)

so, uvnc use replacement mslogon for allow right access to users and group

If there was a way to specify access via CORP\ then it should work, but it isn't clear if that is possible...

So this scenario is not possible?
Two viewers with full control:
CORP\userOne
CORP\userTwo

all other viewers will on the following and only have view control:
CORP\

I appreciate the help 8)

I'm waiting for admin rights for the machine before I can test anything.

If anyone else has any suggestions in the meantime, I'm all ears

I was able to accomplish this using the following settings:

Full control: CORP\username
View only: Everyone
