I have somtimes the need of start the Viewer having an internet connection via GPRS.
I created a personal Viever on wich there are the connection of two different adresses. One with a fixed public IP, the second with a xxxx.dyndns.org, and they work perfectly.(-connect 151.38.134.154:5500 and -connect genesi2.dyndns.org:5500 , they are behind routers)
I have a third account with dyndns.org that I use when I'm around, connected via GPRS, and so I put another Host on the helpdesk.txt with:
-connect angelobo.dyndns.org:5500
that does not work.
Any suggestion ? Where can I find multiple examples of -connect ?
Thank in advance

Re: PcHelpWare and GPRS internet connection
GPRS is NAT routed and you have no access to port forwarding of the operator network router.
bypass this limitation with an outgoing connection required to repeater else no luck.
nothing related to your -connect angelobo.dyndns.org is ok.
(your actual angelobo is connected now on ADSL line not on GPRS)

Re: PcHelpWare and GPRS internet connection
Thank very much Regde,
my big problem is that often I'm around, and I need more the connection via GPRS than others.
I have to find the way, because I like PcHelpWare !!
I'm a little confused for the setup using repeater.
I tested several ways, but nothing work.
I think that if I don't find the way, I will throw away PcHelpWare.
