Hi, we primarily use UltraVNC for client support.
Currently, we use a reverse VNC arrangement where they download/install UltraVNC & the select 'add new client' to connect to one of our listening viewers.
Some companies have restricted outbound traffic, what changes do they need to make to their firewalls to allow our revese vnc traffic?
Thanks

VNC ports
Unless you told your clients to change their ports, the default port # for VNC is 5900 (UDP & TCP). Simply add outgoing 5900 TCP/UDP to the firewall rules.

Hi,
_INBOUND_ VNC connections use by default TCP 5900 (and TCP 5800 for loading java viewer)
_OUTBOUND_REVERSE_ VNC connections use by default TCP 5500, and that is, IMO, what was asked. Please excuse all the caps.

There's one way to find out if a man is honest - ask him.
If he says, "Yes," you know he is a crook.
