Hello,
I have some question about UltraVNC Single Click
*How It works? If I have installed the UltraVNC to my computer, can I have remote desktop to the user that runs the program (I mean the Single Click)? And how?
*What I have to write to
[HOST] ?
My IP and my port? what?
Yours,
JimKarvo

Re: I am comfused
Have you considered PcHelpWare? You can easily try it using [topic=9663]"Zero Configuration" PcHelpWare_viewer Setup[/topic]. It will create the helpdesk.txt file for you and you can see what goes in the [HOST] section. The syntax of the file is discussed at http://www.uvnc.com/pchelpware/helpdesk/index.html.

Re: I am comfused
You are correct that SC is the tool. PcHelpWare is simply the latest version of SC and I found it easier to set up. If you feel more comfortable with SC that 'll work just fine.

Re: I am comfused
With PcHelpWare or SC you'd create an executable that you'd host on your website. When a client needs assistance you'd start the viewer listening for the incoming connection, the client would download the file you created and run it. It can be set up to automatically connect to you without the client having to configure their router. Typically, they'd simply need to allow the program to access the internet when prompted by their security software.
Re: I am comfused
That means that I have to write my IP to the "host" line, right?
EG: pc4all.no-ip.org:5800

Here's a link to an explanation of the helpdesk.txt syntax http://www.uvnc.com/pchelpware/helpdesk/index.html. You'd use -connect pc4all.no-ip.org:5500. Note that the default port is 5500 not 5800, but you can use any port you wish. Just set up port forwarding to the machine that you'll run the viewer on and start it listening to whatever port you decide.
