Poll Full Screen & Poll Console Windows Only?

Can anyone point me to an explanation of the Poll Full Screen and Poll Console Windows Only settings in the Current User Properties dialog? The documentation contains nothing but a question mark. Thanks.

Poll Full Screen:
WinVNC will poll the whole screen & check any change to update the viewer screen.


Poll Console Windows Only:
WinVNC will poll the CMD PROMPT windows only.
