In SC I can have a company connect to me on my desktop from several remote machines at once - very useful for troubleshooting client server issues or doing updates on an entire small office at once. I haven't figured out how to do that with PcHelpWare. Is it possible?
Thanks

Re: PcHelpWare -Multiple remote sessions to 1 support deskto
not yet possible and is not (yet) supported
you need to open new pchelpware_viewer for next pchelwpare_server
for now, 1 to 1

Re: PcHelpWare -Multiple remote sessions to 1 support deskto
Thanks,
Is it possible to run mutliple viewers on one machine and have clients click on different entries in the PcHelpWare_SC_GUI based server setups?
Does it help to use multiple ports or does that not matter?
Very interested in whatever workarounds are available although I'm beginining to conclude that I'm going to have to develop a dual SC and PcHelpWare based approach where I have Vista users click on a link to download PHW and XP users stay with the SC. I will write some AutoIT3 scripts to swap SC for PHW as needed.
What is the outlook for adding -listen and multiple sessions? Once those are added I can retire SC.
Another nice feature (have no idea if possible) is to force vista into basic mode during session. I just did one and aero kept running - did run fine over fast cable connection.

It would be a tremendous asset to be able to handle multiple remote clients via the same port forwarded to my machine.

yes, is possible to run multiple viewer on same port without conflict (sharing)
I think is not matter
multiple port use with different supporters
there no command line for now except by API developer for pchelpware

Re: PcHelpWare -Multiple remote sessions to 1 support deskto
I've tried to engage two remote computers on my workstation twice, to no avail. Something about a binding issue. I'll test this again. I'll be back in a jiffy with my results.
I know this can be done with UltraVNC-SC and tried it before with PCHelpWare to no avail. Be back in a few.

I'm still not able to connect two different remote computers to the same machine here. What should I look for to see what could be causing this problem?jugstah wrote:I've tried to engage two remote computers on my workstation twice, to no avail. Something about a binding issue.
