Editing Source code

Hey, im new to programming so sorry if this sounds stupid,

I have visual studio 2005 and vb 6

I want to edit the status form to add an end button which will shut down the remote control as if the user had exited it by selecting close from the task bar icon and the pressed quit on the main form.

I have downloaded the source and opened it in vb 6 but it wont compile, it seems like it needs a few dsp files?

Any help would be great

the core code could not be changed
only User Interface could be modifier.

Thanks for your reply. I have just made a seperate exe file which runs along side the main pchelpware program that closes everything down. I may suggest the feature as a future request.
