Map remote drives?

Post by drewgraham »

Although it doesn't always work perfectly, in MS Term Services your local drives are mapped to the remote computer's My Computer. When you need to run a small utility or quickly move a file across, it's amazingly useful.

Is there a possibility of having it as part of UVNC? Or am I asking for the moon on a stick?

To complicate....

But you can use the buildin File Transfer (ftp like gui) to copy little files
between server and client.

You may want to look into Hamachi for setting up two machines on a Virtual Private Network. That would allow you to map drives etc.

vista handles mapped network drives excellently. no more pauses or hangups when they are disconnected.
