File transfer problem
File transfer problem
I am still having problems doing file transfers with an XP Home server. It only works if I log the server in as "owner". If I try to do it from the logon screen while no users are logged into their desktop, I get "file transfer permission denied...". Even if I log in as another user with administrator permissions I get the same thing. It only works if I log in as "owner" and while Owner's desktop is showing. Is this the expected behaviour?

Re: File transfer problem
I had the same server and client version and still UVNC refused to allow my client to file transfer.
I had the server running as a service on XP sp2 and had BOTH File Transfer options ON.
I found that if I clicked OFF and then ON the 'Enable File transfer' option in the Server Helper then my file transfer was re-enabled!
Worth trying if you can't get it to work.
