I compiled a custom SC.exe and set it up to connect to
my public ip with a port and set my router with all the
port forwarding info. But when I start the SC.exe it hits
my router with a different Port# every time!
any suggestions?

I ran the SC.exe on my lan and it works great! However
I have to open the SC.exe 2 times before it connects

in your lan you are using probably private ips are you changing the ip to the internet ip?? Also alot of routers will not translate the ip properly if it is local and also the wan address. Try to send it to a buddy to check

What means of that? How did you detect/see this?Daniel9351 wrote:But when I start the SC.exe it hits

If you refer the port opened at local host by SC.exe (not the port of the remote 64.000.000.154), then it is normal. Everytimes you run SC.exe (or any other program that tries to make outbound connection) will use a new (not yet used) port.
Did you get any error message when run your SC.exe at the 1st time?Daniel9351 wrote:I ran the SC.exe on my lan and it works great! However

If you terminate a success connection and then reconnect again, do you need to open the SC.exe 2 times again?

Re: port number problems (will donate if it works)
Thanks for the help guys! I think I got this thing all worked out
The port problem thing was a problem with my router.
The open twice problem, was caused by incorrect compiling.
Thanks again!
