unvc.com repeater down again?

Post by coder68 »

I am getting:

Read failed 10054
encryption failed, if using proxy, new repeater listening to 443
An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host init network failed.68

Is the server in need of a reboot?

I am using uvnc.com for my testing.

BTW when I use repeater01.ultravnc.info I get the viewer error
Network stopped, closing viewer.

I am using the [topic=9663]Zero Config[/topic] setup and I am still getting the error.

Start
Using Repeater
repeater01.ultravnc.info
ID:XXXX
Connect repeater success
Setting up encryption
Waiting for Viewer
Read Failed
10054
Encryption failed, if using proxy, new repeater listening to 443|
An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote hos|
An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote hos|
Init Network failed

It does not matter if I use uvnc.com or repeater01.ultravnc.info.

Am I missing something?

OK I got it working, but I keep getting crashes on the viewer.

I saved the crash data that MS was going to have me send... but I do not know if it has any usefull info for you.

The more often I ran it, the more times I would get the errors, or so it seems. The machine doing the viewing is day old build of XP with all updates. 2.2 mhz celery with 640 megs of ram. It has nothing else on it. The machine that was being viewed has XP with all updates and a ton of other software. 1700 athlon XP with 512 megs of ram.

I do not know if there is anything in the dump that I would not want in public view... can I email one of the coders with the files? They are saved as .txt but look to be xml.

Nevermind. I retested and got no errors. I think the reason I was getting errors was that I was using one PC in my house to controll another PC in the house via the net. I did that because it was late, and I had nobody to test with, other them my own machines.

Now that I have done a test via two different internt IP's, all went well with no errors.

Thank you!

ost has failed to respond.
Waiting for server to become online ..
