Okay so I've been working on this for a reallllly long time.
So far, I've written an .msi file to install ultravnc through group policy using wix v3. This works perfectly so this is just a little background info.
Anyways, all i want to do is disable the -settings dialog so that users can't shut off the video driver and allow me access to only certain windows. They already cannot access the -defaultsettings dialog, the one where all the main options are, and I've got it locked down in all other respects but i don't want computer savvy users to shut off the video driver using the command prompt. I just can't seem to find the registry setting that i have to change, or am I not able to?
Ps i posted this in the experts-exchange forum yesterday and have yet to get a response...

still want to fix this somehow any developers that could point me in the right direction...?
Re: ultravnc disable user account from changing settings dia
via gpo you can deny access to certain exe-files. WinVNC.exe is run by Local System if you install it as service. So you can deny the specific users access to run exe-files containing "winvnc.exe".
gimme a beep if it works or not.
