winvnc doesn't work as service on Windows Server 2003

Hello,
i tried to install UltraVNC on a Windows Server 2003.
I installed it successfully and the server as service.
But i can not run the servicehelper, if i start it from the startmenu it starts an instance of winvnc, but no icon in the systray.
Also i cannot connect to the server, the connection is established, but nothing happens. After a while there is a timeout for the viewer.
If i start winvnc manually on the server then i can configure it and i can connect to it. but then the screen stays black, and somethings really wrong, because if i make filetransfer the winvnc soon will stop at all.
i guess it has something to do with the connected user, but what?
i have to mention, that i installed it by RemoteDesktop.

before i had a problem with the videoadapter and a bluescreen, but this solved with another videocard.

Thank you, with a console-RD-connection the install worked.
Now i have the problem, that the filetransfer give some problems.
i start it, and i can transfer maybe a little file. but then i browse in the remote windows server 2003 (in the right pane of the filetransfer) and soon all stucks. but not only the filetransfer, also the VNC. what is this? is this known?

hmm.. I transfer files to to server and from my 2003 server all the time. Mostly they are small files though. Mostly file transfers work the best if they are installed as a service... When the file transfer window is open you can not remote control the machine until it is closed.. Just in case you did not know that..

But: what if i click in the FileTransfer-Window on 'Minimize' ? Then i can continue the remoting. I do this all the time.
To remote the Server, indeedly, RemoteDesktop is much faster and handier, but for the FileTransfer (and for Firewalls) i need UltraVNC...

well that is true if you min. the file transfer but i do not have that problem with transffering files two and from a windows 2003 server I am not sure why the transfer window is locking on you. If you have the same version of uvnc on both sides then it should work..

i have.
the UltraVNC connection works till i open the FileTransfer.
If i browse in a Folder of the remote server it stops after listing the half or a third of its content with:

Browsing The Remote Directory. Please Wait...

in the StatusBar. Then after, UltraVNC crashes even if i dont leave the FileTransfer.
I use the MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm with a rc4 key.

i should debug it to look what happens, but not enough time..

but the UltraVNC works really good, no crashes since 1 hour

and i have the 'user impersonation (for service)' checked, is that right?
