Connection forcibly closed error [Solved]

Post by bevtech »

If you are connecting a server ( the self extracting exe) to a repeater and you get this error

Solution 1: Nothing is wrong with your viewer or server configuration. The repeater is stuck and needs restarted...( we found a bug )

I'm trying the sample server and viewer because I am unable to get any of my own configs to work. I'm getting the connection forcibly closed message. Does the repeater need to be restarted now?

was very pleased to get PCHW working first time, but on second attempt after both PCs shutdown and restarted am getting the "an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" message. Does this mean the repeater needs re-starting?

the first problem? on the server side message reads after 'waiting for viewer...'
Read failed
10054
Encryption failed, if using proxy, new repeater listening to 443 and
an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
init network failed

any suggestions? have set up the viewer and created server based on the zero configuration posted by mattice06082

many thanks
