Staying connected when remote machine is restarting.

Hi there,

Today we have been setting up Ultra VNC and so far have been very impressed.

However there is one feature we had with our last bit of software which ideally we want happening with UltraVNC.

Basically I need to know if it's possible that when you restart a clients machine, once it boots back up you can get automatically re-connected?

Before we were using Network Streaming and what happened was you restarted a machine, then it would disconnect you and once the machine booted back up it sends you the invitation again to get connected. When you click close it gave you the option to either uninstall the software and quit, leave the software on and quit, or cancel(which re-initiated the connection). On Ultra it justs un-installs the software and quits. S I'm not sure whether you have an add-on or anything.

If someone could let me know if this possible that would be great, and if it is then it would be ideal

Are you using UVNC server or UVNC Single click to connect.

The viewer does have autoreconnect feature.

Hi Ken thanks for your help.

We're using Single Click though...and by the looks of that link you've given me we can't do it on that.

I hope I'm wrong?

EDIT: I've just seen that the auto-reconnect feature is under "connecting VNC Viewers" rather than a specific service which in effect is what our clients are doing.

Can't this parameter be incorperated with the code within the Single Click zip file?
