How much increase in speed when using drivers ?

Post by thoste »

PcHW offers in one of its sub directories special drivers for speed up.

How much will be the speed increase (.e.g in percent) when I use these drivers ?

Is it notable or neglectable ?

It is very noticeable.. I barely use them because I mostly just use it for remote support of clients and do not take the time to load it in but it does help

From what I've noticed, the drivers help more with processor load than with visual speed, though I'm sure it does both.

After installation of the driver I've noticed the load on the PC drop from a constant 20-40% CPU usage to only 4-7%, so the driver can make a big difference!

Installation is pretty short and simple, so if you have the time, do it.
