PCHelpware is second to none regarding speed of screen redraws. Is it possible to use the PCHW rendering engine with a standard client-server setup? In other words, instead of firing up PCHelpware and making a connection to my PCHelpware viewer in listen mode, is it possible to have the remote user just run PCHelpware as a service, have it listen on port 5900, and then I can connect from my end using the viewer?
PCHelpware is wonderful, but I need to make connections the other way too. Right now we're using PCAnywhere (commercial, expensive for medium-to-large networks, and the version we've licensed doesn't even work under Vista) and UltraVNC (works well, free, but can be slow to redraw the remote screen, although it's not as bad as PCA).

Re: UltraVNC standard client-server connection with PCHelpwa
Unfortunatey no it will not install as a service and work like Uvnc..PCHelpware is second to none regarding speed of screen redraws. If you are remoting into 2000 and above boxes you can use the mirror driver. It speeds up redraws big timePCHelpware is wonderful, but I need to make connections the other way too.
