i have a workgroup of 15 pcs
this is in a net cafe environment
the problem is that when i boot up the pc straigth to the net cafe environment it will not run ultra vnc although the explorer shell loads....
or some times it will pull out the screen "deafult setting"
when i boot in straight windows environment (explorer shell) it gives me the same page "default setting"
and if i set a password and press apply/ok it runs good
i ve tried using it as a service but no good
now i have the shortcut in the start up folder of windows with the forementioned results....
it is not the firewall or nat or anything cause when i run the server program manually then erything works perfectly...
any ideas?

and why is that? the service mode works great, you MUST change the default password when you first install it. as soon as you run the service for the first time, it will pop up the config screen so you can set your password. if you dont change the password at this point it WILL NOT WORK, so dont even try to skip this part. its not a problem in any case, its a security feature.sentenced3468 wrote: i ve tried using it as a service but no good
