Dummies guide
Dummies guide
Now come on guys. all this is a bit too much. I want to start to use this utility and can't even start as i don't understand what to do. No one has actually said what is needed from start to finish to get somone connected up with it. This might be worth a "Dummies guide" eh?
Re: Dummies guide
Is the STEP BY STEP too complex??

Re: Dummies guide
No, it's simple and clear !
But I think I have to add more explanations, an introduction on the context/architecture/data flows and possible usages of PCHelpware
Some kind of use cases and global vision of the PCHelpware echosystem so even tech-savvy people know what they are actually doing when they follow this very good Step by Step guide
Reminder for PCHelpware beginners: the current Step By Step guide is here:
[topic=8898][/topic]
To understand the global PCHelpware architecture, see here for now:
http://uvnc.com/pchelpware/index.html
I should probably enrich this page:
http://uvnc.com/pchelpware/config/index.html
and add a direct link to the Step By Setp guide on it

Re: Dummies guide
Hi All
Who involved in project - really thx Guys for You incredible work just configured PCHelpWare, successfully connected and view remote PC. But - possibly a dummy question - Is there any options to remotely control PC? Or only to view? Share control with local user?
I'd used search, but unable to found answers on it.
Thx again for Your amazing job

Re: Dummies guide
What do you mean by remotely control PC? I've used PcHelpWare to connect to my sister and aunt's PC. After connecting, I was able to connect to the internet from their machine, download software, install it, etc.
Re: Dummies guide
You can also sit back and let the user run the computer while you watch it with pchelpware.. So I am too puzzled by your question

Re: Dummies guide
I just remembered that I seemed to have some trouble while I had the chat box open. Has anyone else had this problem?
Re: Dummies guide
well if it follows the pattern of other uvnc programs you might have to close the chat window before continuing..
