Password issues

I've seen a few posts about not being able to copy the server to another PC without having it fail with wrong password. From the glossary, it states " The profile only has a secured password, all other settings are readable.
The password in the profile is secured by the standard MS encryption, I
guess that's based on user and machine."
If I look at the helpdesk.txt, the -password is followed by a 32 char key which is created.
Is there any way around this? I am using my own repeater, so the purpose of generating a unique key is not worth the hassle of not being able to run a single viewer and server on multiple PCs
