In your online manual on the site I read:
"-> The Viewer PC needs to have an official ip address"
who writes these manuals? What is an "official ip address" ?
I see a part 1 part 2 part 3 and part 4, but unfortunately, none of them make much sense at all. It's a load of info, without any chronological setup or usage manual.
It starts with showing contents of a zip. What zip file is that? Can it be downloaded, and if so where? Which version of all the downloads should we get?
You need a group coordinator who puts all files in an OpenDir (indexed by Apache), and then puts a readme below it, where it says what is what.

Re: official ?
If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
To make matters worse, I just tested PcHelpWare,
and I have some results:
I've worked with VNC, RealVNC, TightVNC, UltraVNC for years, ever since the start, almost 10 years ago, and only started using encryption with SC almost 2 years ago.
To be very honest with you, all those years my VNC connections have never been compromised, passwords have never been captured or anything. And I used it professionally a lot. I controlled BIG radio-stations remotely and important corporate server-networks, datacenters and the likes.
Main reason for the security not having been breached is probably that I always used ports way up high, like 65088. (Once again proving security by obscurity DID work.)
So:
- Why is the heavy encryption added by default?
If you're using it on a LAN, it's even more strange to use it.
It seems to be causing very high CPU usage.
So heavy even, that it seems screen-updates and artifacts
are much worse compared to the latest SC I was using,
even in B&W mode there were more artifacts than I have
ever seen before using UltraVNC.
How is this possible for a RC1 version of ANY UltraVNC release?
(ALL former usage for me and UltraVNC was better quality..)
My latest SC, with encryption plugin, zip unzip and ftp interface added, was 290 K in size. The new PCHW server exe is 337 K.
And also, even though I like the resize options, it should default to 100%.
All other extra options are great. But I would have liked some more screen-processing options, like in the normal UVNC interface, Control Alt Del would be nice too.
The chat interface was never really useful, because your own chat-screen is on top of that of the server's, which always causes mistakes.
I always use GoogleTalk in combination, works better IMO. Big advantage: If VNC-connection breaks, you can still communicate.
I would also like to be able to rename and change PcHelpWare logo's and popups, as with SC. Personally don't really like the name 'PcHelpWare' is too common and simple for what it is. SingleClick VNC was a nicer name imo.
I'm sorry to maybe disappoint you again, but this is all meant to be constructive.
I would be happy to correct your documentation btw.

Re: official ?
I note some improvements. Cool.
Thanks for your offer about documentation correction.
We are in a process of rethinking it, especially the SC and PCHelpware ones, but any constructive suggestion is welcome
PCHelpware is not UltraVNC or even UltraVNC SC.
It's a new very promising project, rewritten from scratch... and if some small problems remain it will be improved, like we did for UltraVNC and UltraVNC SC.
About security: that's not because you think that your security hasn't been compromised when you were using no encryption that it is necessarily the case
About Text Chat: I also use MSN or Google talk when possible while remote controling someones PC. But sometimes they are blocked by corporate Firewalls and I prefer the UltravNC Chat to the the Ajax Google Talk interface.
If the uvnc connection is dropped it automatically reconnects when using the -autoreconnect option.
