Multiple logins in the one EXE not using the SC GUI?

Post by michaelm »

Hi,

Using the standard PcHelpWare GUI, is it possible to store multiple connection strings so that if you type:

Login: "Computer A"
Password: "blah"

connects to 192.168.0.70:5500

and

Login: "Computer B"
Password: "blah blah"

connects to 192.168.0.50:5500

So basically the file stores the logins (not the passwords)....

Anyone know?

I've had a look at the helpdesk.txt and am familiar with the SC helpdesk.txt

Thanks

Michael

Well, i was looking for the precise same function, like when using SC the user gets a list of supporters.
Problem at our place is that we are 5 supporters that each have one pc at work and one pc at home, so we did set this up in the menu of SC.
But in PHW this does not seem to be possible.

I like your suggestion on one ID equals on Supporter, just hope this will be implemented together with the Viewer being able to be minimized to tray.
