unable to connect (Unable to add mapping)

Post by Jester »

Hi, i'm using UltraVNC some time now and it works fine.
I 'm using a .dyndns.org account to connect to my pc.
All the pc's i use, have a dyn. ip.

Now i want to use PcHelpWare to help some people i know.
I followed the instruction as good as i could, but with now luck.
Checked this forum, but can't find a sollution.

set-up:
-------

Direct Connection
Alias: FrancisVNC
Password: kkk
Listen Port: 5500
Quality: Mid
UPnP: Auto map

all the other values are disabled

When i click Create Server, i get the box for the IP and there i put my .dyndns.org site.

The server is now created

But when i click Start, i see
Test: Upnp
Connection Sharing
Unable to add mapping

What do i wrong.
Do i have to use the Repeater maybe? (but how does that word)
Or is there something else wrong?

Thanks

your router is not fully UPnP compliant and unable to open port 5500
you need open port 5500 to your router where you have the pchelpware_viewer
or if you don't want open anything for your side (pchelpware_viewer)
you need to use this solution below:

UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 (built 20110518)
OS Win: xp home + vista business + 7 home
only experienced user, not developer
