Hi,
Can someone help me, and say how to change listening port. I am startini vncviewer in listening, but default port is 5500. How to change it for example to 5901? I tried to start vncviewer via command line like this: vncviewer -listen 5901, but it just opens me a new connection
So please help me. Good day
Dio

Listening port
Re: Listening port
you need to change the helpdesk.txt file
:5500 change to :5901
Save the file recreate the singleclick exe then try it..
Make sure that viewer is listening to port 5901 and that any firewalls have that port open if you are using this via the internet..

Re: Listening port
Hmm... You understood me wrong. Look i am the man who gets all tasks from that custom sc connection, but in that file i wrote 5901 port. So i need to use it, but my vncviever is listening 5500 port. O cant change port on that custom file , because of secury policies. So i have to make viewer start and listen on not default 5500 port //
As you said be sure your viewer is listening 5901. It does not, by default it is 5500, that is what i want to change

Re: Listening port
Just encountered same issue and looking for solution found your post... here's the answer I just figured out. There's probably another way to do this. If you Click on Start then navigate to the Viewer (Listening Mode)... right click on it and choose properties.
You'll see the -listen at the end... just enter a space and your desired port number. That's it.
for example the shortcut is now:
"C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\vncviewer.exe" -listen 5502
Enjoy!
