I've created a direct connection and it works great on my inside home network. I am trying to use the Repeater option and have the following settings set for Repeater Settings:
Host Repeater: uvnc.com
Listen Port Viewer: 5901
Listen Port Server: 5500
ID: BTG123
The test works perfectly. But when I click on start I get the below messages and then its just stops! Am I doing anything wrong here? Thanks in advance!!
Start Encryption, Waiting Server
Network Stopped, Closing Viewer

ID allow only number.
this is not a direct connection,

pchelpware_viewer require set password before Start
so settings was not right.

Let me know if you figure out how to make the repeater work
if you install it on your own computer. I've gotten the
repeater to work just fine using uvnc.com, but I've never
been able to make it work when I install the repeater
on my PC.
I've posted this problem ([topic=8985][/topic])
before no one could solve it.

For now I am going to use uvnc.com but yeah, I tried setting the repeater on my computer and had no luck with it either..

ok it is looking like everyone is having issues with there own repeater. I can assist but only one at a time..

Hi, i have the same problem... but from 22/01/2007, before I have try connection and it's work...
In a new pc, new windows, without any software (skype, norton...) only the default software of windows xp prof. ... i run the pchelpware_server.exe
start the connection --> ok
contact the repeater --> ok
setting up encription --> ok
Waiting for viewer --> only 1 second
Read Failed

I have create 4 server with different ID and Password, I have test this on different pc, but it's not work...
(in download area of pchelpware there is 2 new DLL... i just download and update my server and viewer...)
