After I use the windows remote desktop to connect a remote PC, I close it and then use UltraVNC to connect the same PC, the connection can be made but only a black screen in the viewer.
I think this is a problem about the session used of windows remote desktop. Is there any ways to completely close the remote desktop session and then I can use UltraVNC normally??

use UltraVNC after using remote desktop - a black screen
Re: use UltraVNC after using remote desktop - a black screen
I don't have an answer here but I have been able to replicate the problem.
What seems to help is the following: after using remote desktop to connect to the remote pc, you need to log in to that machine locally. that seems to reset somethng, and from then on you can use UltraVNC to connect to the machine.

Midtoad was right.
You have to log off, not just close, the RDP connection, otherwise windows keeps the account active (still logged in on a "virtual" windows account).
When you try to log in with VNC you'll get the windows welcome screen and you'll be trying to log in to an account that is already logged on.
Windows doesn't like it when that happens.

How do you off the remote desktop? Cos I tampered with the Windows Remote Desktop as well...

Should be able to click on Start/Log Off (on the host). This will kill the remote desktop session.
or -
Open the task manager (on the host) and log off from there.
