Documentation

Post by leem »

A long time ago, in a forum far far away (the PCHW beta forum),
Rudi De Vos wrote:Documentation project will start after 1/1/2007.

Did this ever start and I missed it somehow? I have been busy lately. Just started playing with release 1 of PCHW and it works a treat!

I notice there's a "restricted wiki" at http://wiki.ultravnc.info but are there any plans to create a new wiki for documentation, or unrestrict that one? I would like to contribute to the documentation (as it certainly won't be code...)

The step by steps is written for pchelpware along with an online manual that rudi wrote on the pchelpware site.

Do you have some sugguestions for improvements on those??. The uvnc.wiki is along way from being ready. Pchelpware will be included in it along with Ultra VNC documentation. I was the only one working on the wiki project to add documentation to it and I have been extremely busy with my paying work that I havent had much time to continue working on it..:( It will be some time before it will be open for everyone to use
