Little changes for update

running pchelpware_server 1.0 on vista, decrease Vista Ultimate to Vista basic image quality and become so sloooow than before you had removed it.
lost main advantage for end user of Vista.
and PcHelpWare_ server won't close properly on Vista without a warning message.

crash phw_viewer winxp while phw_server win98se windows screen saver ask password (Flying Windows.scr).

server don't crash and wait press Connect

While I was playing around a little bit I set the bandwidth parameter to zero. After a connection was etablished to this viewer the server crashed by getting the bandwidth...

Better Compression B&W and 256 color...
Compression:
RLE+ZLIB is between 100 and 33% of pure ZLIB size.
Anybody have an idea why RLE preprocessing gives that big difference
for the final ZLIB result.
8.000 --> 2.000 (RLE)--> 200(ZLIB)
8.000 -> 350(ZLIB)
200 <--> 350 In compression terms, the difference is BIG.

Viewer DLL is backward compatible, can be used with older server DLL's
New server DLL require new viewer DLL.

I installed the above update for the server and viewer.
I notice the following:

1. Right click on icon in systray shows the new option "Show log", but when I click on this option, the log window doesn't show.
2. With this update I notice a lot of screen corruption. For example, when I read messages in Outlook 2003, the message text get corrupted, so I have to press the Refresh button a lot. So I went back to the previous version and the screen corruption has gone!

I hope you can solve these issues.

still small bug: after closing the server, the empty folder C:\temp_phw\ still remains on the hard disk. that should be removed after usage.

After you hide the info window, you can bring it back with the show..

I won't see any difference between previous and this new dll except:
- size is 200 kb less
- No more freeze when close the pchelpware info, good.

screen corruption are more frequent than before with Black & White with and without video hook driver2


Maybe you forgot to commit some change to your dll for the public ?
