PHW SC GUI feedback

Post by petardo »

I have tested the SC GUI with the new dll-s.

Config:
Helpdesk.txt contains 2 [HOST] items - 1 for direct connection, 1 for repeater, mode 2.

Result:
- Passwd ask option was a a problem, had to delete.
Will it be possible in later release of SC GUI to use pwd?

- Repeater reported port problems.
After having cleard the Enable Proxy checkbox, worked fine.

Otherwise all funcioned super!
Congratulatons :)

The way PHW SC GUI interpret balloon2a and b, is not really informative:

Instead of showing the balloon tips over the system tray icon,
it shows them in the hidden connection window,
while showing the balloon tip "PcHelpWare" over the system tray icon in the same time.

The connection window resumes only after disconnection, and the balloon tips 2a and b are visible for less then a second.

So it makes not much sense to show ballon2a and b there.

The problem is that the systray is part of the dll's and all "balloon" text is part of the GUI(SC).

Dll's are also used for the GUI(PHW)..
