Can I execute a command line remotely to spawn VNC? Backward

Post by solutions4 »

OK, here is the situation, not sure if it is possible, but...

I have a tabletPC.
I also have a media center desktop connected to an 46" LCD on teh wall.

Can I 'trigger' UltrVNC from the TalbetPC to launch on the media center and connect to the TabletPC to display the TabletPC on the wall? The TabletPC will be wireless, and I want to have the digital pen capabilities display on the LCD.

Obviously, I would like to do this without walking over to the desktop and launching. Showmanship, I guess.

Thoughts?

Never easy.

Have a VNCViewer -listen always running (in systray) on your media center.

On tablet PC click on an icon to run
winvnc -connect <ip-adr of mediacenter>
